A Few Words About Shipping & Handling

Thanks for looking here.

** Due to the increasing costs of fuel, both Fed Ex Ground and UPS are raising rates nearly weekly.  Order early before rates go astronomical.

 We believe it is important to point out to our customers about shipping/handling and insurance fees.  When using our shopping Cart through PayPal, the shipping rates are set based on dollar value of the items you are purchasing.  Under $100, the rates may seem somewhat higher than usual, but that is because most of the heavier ceramic items are under $100, and we must cover our shipping/handling expenses.  As stated on our Read Before Ordering page, we have a minimum shipping of $8.45.  That is standard in the mail order system, because it takes time to prepare merchandise for shipping, and all shipping services (whether UPS, Fed Ex or US Postal)  have a minimum for shipping.

Insurance is automatically included in the PayPal Cart Shipping calculation, up to $100.  To ensure for higher value, you will need to request the insurance for your own protection.

PayPal informs customers that shipping will begin in 3-4 business days.  We typically try to beat that schedule, however, during our busy Halloween season beginning in late August, that schedule may be extended as orders are coming in very fast, and we take and fill orders in the order of their payments.  We typically ship Federal Express Ground, and depending upon where you are in the United States, shipping can take from 3 to 5 days.
